Spa Policies

By booking an appointment or making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in these policies.

Cancellations and No Shows

To respect the time of all our clients and staff, we request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment.

  • Late Cancellations: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the service fee.

  • Missed Appointments: If you do not show up for your appointment without notifying us, you will also be charged 50% of the service fee.

We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust your appointment.

Appointments

We want your experience to be relaxing and seamless. To ensure your session starts on time, we ask that you:

  • Arrive Early: Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and prepare for your treatment.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened to accommodate subsequent appointments. The full session price will still apply, regardless of the time available for your treatment. We may extend your session only if time allows.

Out of respect for your therapist and fellow clients, we encourage punctuality to ensure everyone has a positive experience.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS

We offer treatments designed for various age groups, but we follow strict minimum age guidelines:

  • Child Pedicure: Minimum age 4 years old

  • Basic Facials: Minimum age 13 years old

  • Waxing (excluding Brazilian): Minimum age 13 years old

  • Manicures and Pedicures: Minimum age 16 years old

  • Laser Photo Rejuvenation: Minimum age 25 years old

For clients under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must:

  1. Sign a consent and waiver form prior to the appointment.

  2. Remain onsite during the service.

We are committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for clients of all ages.

Treatment Times

To maximize your experience, all treatment times include:

  • Pre-Treatment Consultation: 5 minutes to discuss your preferences and needs.

  • Post-Treatment Wrap-Up: 5 minutes to finalize your service and provide recommendations.

For example, a 60-minute massage includes 50-55 minutes of hands-on time, adhering to industry standards.

Polish Removal - Shellac & Dip Polish

To ensure your manicure or pedicure starts on time, we kindly ask that any shellac, dip, or gel polish be removed before your appointment.

At this time, we do not offer polish removal services. Arriving with these polishes still applied may result in the service being rescheduled.

Scent-Free Environment

We strive to provide a comfortable experience for all guests, including those with sensitivities to fragrances. Please avoid wearing the following when visiting the spa:

  • Perfume, cologne, or aftershave.

  • Scented hair products, deodorants, body sprays, lotions, or fabric softeners.

If you arrive wearing a noticeable scent, we may ask you to reschedule your appointment. Thank you for supporting a safe and scent-free environment for everyone.

Non-Smoking Policy

We are a smoke-free zone, both indoors and outdoors. For the comfort of our clients and staff, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking on or near our property.

Sanitation & Tool Cleaning Policy

Your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We adhere to the highest sanitation standards, including:

  • Strict cleaning protocols for tools, equipment, and treatment areas.

  • Single-use disposables where appropriate.

  • Hospital-grade disinfectants for all reusable tools.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of our services or packages but are always appreciated by our team.

  • Typical gratuity ranges between 15-20% of the service price.

  • If you’re unsure of the appropriate amount, our reception team can assist.

Thank you for acknowledging the care and effort provided by your esthetician or therapist.

Gift Certificates

Our gift certificates are the perfect way to treat someone special. Please note the following terms:

  • Validity: Gift certificates can be used for any product or service and do not expire.

  • Non-Refundable: Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.

  • Lost or Stolen Cards: Please handle your gift certificate as cash. Peppermint Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift certificates.

  • Price Adjustments: If service prices increase after purchase, the difference must be covered by the client.

Series and Package Policies

We offer discounted series and packages for select services, such as laser hair removal treatments, to provide flexibility and value. Please review the following policies before purchasing:

  • Non-Refundable: All series and packages are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Expiration: Series and packages must be used within 12 months of the purchase date unless otherwise specified. Unused sessions will expire and cannot be refunded or transferred.

  • Non-Transferable: Series and package sessions are non-transferable and can only be used by the original purchaser.

  • Scheduling Limitations: Appointment times and schedules cannot be guaranteed. If equipment, such as the microneedling or laser machine, is unavailable due to maintenance or servicing, appointments may need to be rescheduled.

  • Staff Availability: While we strive to accommodate requests for specific staff, we cannot guarantee the availability of the same service provider for every session in the series.

  • Results May Vary: Individual results may vary based on skin type, response to treatment, and adherence to pre- and post-care instructions. No guarantees of results are implied.

  • Missed Appointments: Missed sessions or cancellations without proper notice (24 hours) will count as completed and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Pre-Care and Post-Care: It is essential to follow all pre-care and post-care guidelines provided for your treatment. Failure to do so may impact results.

  • Price Adjustments: If pricing changes after the purchase of a series or package, the original purchase price will remain valid for the duration of the series.

  • Medical Clearance: If you develop any medical condition or are undergoing treatment that may interfere with your sessions, you must inform us immediately. A physician’s note may be required to resume treatments.

By purchasing a series or package, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please feel free to reach out to our team with any questions before committing to a series purchase.

Coupons

Coupons provide great value but must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Coupons must be presented at the time of your appointment.

  • Lost or forgotten coupons will not be honored retroactively, and the full service price will apply.

Please check the terms of your coupon for any additional restrictions.

Product Refunds and Returns

For health and safety reasons, all product sales are final. We are unable to accept refunds, returns, or exchanges.

Customer Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are unhappy with your service, please inform the receptionist immediately at checkout.

  • We may offer a complimentary follow-up service, pending management approval, to address your concerns.

  • Refunds are not provided for spa services or packages.
