Spa Policies
Cancellations and No Shows
As a courtesy, we ask that a 24 hour notice be given to change or cancel an appointment or regularly scheduled service. For a cancellation with less than 24 hour notification or for no show appointments, clients will be charged 50% of the service fee.
Appointments
Kindly arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that your treatment can start promptly.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session price. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. We cannot guarantee appointments for late arrivals. A late arrival will receive an extension of scheduled service ONLY if it is available.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
All services including facial treatments, massage, laser treatments, electrolysis have a minimum guest age requirement of 18 years old. The following treatments have minimum age requirements exceptions:
Child Pedicure minimum age 4 years old
Facials (basic only) minimum age 13 years old
Waxing (no brazilians) minimum age 13 years old
Manicures/Pedicures minimum age 16 years old
Laser Photo Rejuvenation minimum age 25 years old
For guests younger then 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign our consent and waiver form and remain on site for the duration of the service.
Treatment Times
All our treatments include time to get onto the table or in our chair with a consultation (5 min) and time to finish after your treatment (5 min). A 60 minute massage treatment is 50-55 minutes hands on, in line with industry standards.
Polish Removal - Shellac & Dip Polish
We only apply nail polish and as such cannot remove shellac, dip , or gel polish. We kindly ask that you have any these types of polishes removed from your nails prior to your manicure or pedicure service.
No Scents
We ask that when visiting, please respect others by refraining from wearing perfume, cologne and aftershave. Please also avoid the use of scented deodorants, hair products, body sprays, lotions, laundry detergents and fabric softeners. Should you arrive wearing a scent, you may be requested to leave and re-schedule your visit. We thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
No Smoking
For the benefit of our customers and the staff, we are a completely non-smoking zone and kindly ask that you refrain from smoking on or near the business property.
Sanitation & Tool Cleaning Policy
We follow very strict guidelines with regards to sanitation and cleanliness in the operation of our business. Please refer to our Sanitation Policy for specifics.
Gratuity
Published prices do not include sales tax or gratuity. It is proper and customary to provide a gratuity to the staff member who provides the treatment. Your esthetician always appreciates a gratuity. If uncertain on the percentage of a gratuity, please communicate with the receptionist.
Payment for Services
We accepts Debit, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX and Cash. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates have no expiration date and may be used towards the purchase of services or products in-store. Gift certificates have no cash value and are not refundable.
Gratuities are not included in the price of our services or gift certificates. Gratuity is left up to client discretion.
Gift certificates are available in any domination and can be used for any of our products or services with no expiration date.
Rates are subject to change without notice. If there is a price increase after the time of the gift card purchase, the client is responsible for covering the difference.
Gift certificates are non-refundable.
Any unused value/amount remaining on the gift certificate cannot be refunded/redeemed for cash.
Gift certificates must be handled with care and treated as cash. Peppermint Spa is not responsible for any lost or stolen cards, or for unauthorized use of cards.
Coupons
Coupons must be presented before a service is rendered. If the coupon is lost or the client forgot to bring the coupon, then full payment at the brochure price will be expected for the service or services that are rendered. Please be sure to always print out and bring the coupon with you on the day of your appointment.
Product Refunds / Returns
Due to current health considerations, we cannot provide refunds, returns or exchanges at this time.
Customer SATISFACTION
Our priority is to achieve the highest level of customer service and satisfaction with spa services provided. If you are displeased with your spa service, please bring it to the attention of the receptionist at the time of checkout. It is our policy to ensure that all services are provided properly and professionally. If you are displeased, upon approval by spa management, you may be eligible to receive a follow-up complimentary service in order for us to have the chance to “make it right”. We do not provide refunds for spa services or packages; the only option is providing a complimentary follow-up service.

We do not sell, nor do we give out any type of information about any client, in any form, especially personal information about you.
